Proposal For Creative Media Production Project
Format and medium - Print movie poster.
Sector - Film advertising.
Working Title - 'Revenge Of The Night'
Genre - Romance
Intended audience and age - My film poster is aimed at the audience of 16+ to young adults and would most likely be female.
Summary of content - My storyline is a basic vampire romance story. There is a male vampire called Emrick Belle (which means immortality and beauty) who lives in a quiet dark town and likes to drink a lot. He is 113 years of age and hates what he has become, he doesn't remember any of his past from before he was bitten and killed and turned into a vampire. One Monday evening Emrick sits in a bar where he meets Josie who later becomes his best friend she knows there is a cure to regain memory of his human past and he takes no chances to find it. Josie and Emrick set out looking for the cure when they eventually find it Emrick has flash backs of his human past like his family and friends, his ex-girlfriend and most of all the man who turned him into a monster. Emrick was upset and angry and went off the rails and hits the town which is when he meets Sutton Stone who is only 60% human but not vampire which Emrick doesn't know. He starts to realise how much she resembles his ex-girlfriend. they get along well have a few drinks and they sleep together but what Emrick doesn't know could well and truly destroy the both of them. After a night of rest and relaxing Emrick sets off to find the Claiborne who is one of the original family. He finds him rather easily in aanother small town. Emrick confronts him but in the moment of attack Sutton enters the room and Emrick is shocked. Sutton is infact Claibornes little sister who is immortal but not a vampire. Emrick still has hate and still wants to kill him but Sutton stops him, if Emrick was to kill Claiborne he would kill Sutton too because of the bloodline.
Summary of Style - My film poster will be dark and mysterious and most likely wont say a lot about the film hopefully. I want the title to stand out more because it makes you question the poster as it will look as if it contradicts the people in it and how they are lay out.
